Hyssop Hyssopus officinalis (purple)

Guilt, Self-judgment, Peace, Responsibility. This plant says "forgive me for the things I do because I was only did what I was told to." There is a passing off of responsibility. Often there is a strong distaste or dislike for something someone has done, therefore it must be justified with an unkind action. This deals directly with allowing others to be who they are outside of our comfort zone. Good essence for those who move outside of their little town and into larger communities with a diverse population. Works on 3rd chakra around fear of being around people who are "different". Brings about small stages of acceptance and tolerance to make them feels more comfortable and others more comfortable in their presence.

Harmonious Expression: The ability to accept that we are not perfect and will make mistakes. The understanding that we are only responsible to do our best to embody our divinity in any given instance... that our ability to fully embody the God/Goddess within will be greater at some times than at other times. It is always our best ... we are responsible for learning from our actions and doing our best to be compassionate to others for they too are doing their best.

Inharmonious Expression: Feeling guilt over our past behavior, deci-sions, words. Feeling as though we are bad or unworthy because we have made mistakes in the past. Feeling as though we have to pay for our mistakes by giving up happiness. Blaming others when they don’t measure up to one’s idea of “how things should be”.
